The English doctor and researcher Edward Bach was convinced that every illness was the result of an emotional imbalance. Since there are 38 basic emotions, he looked for plants and flowers that could bring these into balance again. Edward Bach declared his simple system complete in the 1930s. The Bach®; Flowers were discovered by the renowned researcher and bacteriologist Edward Bach (1886-1936), who was a practising doctor in London in his time.
